Happy Thursday! Oh my goodness, I have been dying to share this blog post! Meet Chelsea + Ryan, one of my 2018 wedding couples! We did their session while I was back in CT, at Devil's Hopyard. Oh, this location was just beautiful! They wanted an earthy, nature feel for their engagement session, and we sure accomplished that! There may have been a few too many caterpillars hanging in the tree's than we would have liked, but it was so worth it!
I can't tell you how much I love these pictures and this couple! When they first asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was SO excited! I had the honor of capturing their love a few years ago, and since then have done their engagement session, and next their wedding! I hope to capture their love for the years to come! They are the absolute sweetest, so in love, down to earth, and nicest couple! We have so much fun every time I see them again. I know their wedding is going to be amazing!
Chelsea + Ryan started dating Freshman year of College and they had their first date in Olde Mystic Village, CT. Ryan drove two hours to have their first date there, how sweet is that!? They both say that day when they left they knew something special was there, even if they didn't know what that was yet. From their they quickly fell in love.
Every year Ryan's family goes on vacation to a beach in Maine. Well two years ago, Chelsea went on vacation with them. Little did she know when she went down to the beach that day, she would find a heart with a R + C in the middle. Next to it was an antique box that said "today is the day" on the mirror inside, along with photos from their relationship thus far. The last photo was a picture of her ring and when she looked up, Ryan was down on one knee and asked her to be his.
Their love for one another is something people dream about. The way Ryan cares for, and loves Chelsea is something beautiful. Ryan also surprised Chelsea at their engagement session with a jewelry box with the words "para siempre" inside, which means "forever", and a necklace! I am cannot wait to be apart of their big day next year and capture all the love and happiness!
