Happy Thursday friends! I know I am quite a few days behind on my weekend recap! Andrew and I were away in Connecticut this weekend traveling for business and to see family, and we came home to no internet! Boo! :(
I hope everyone had a fun and safe memorial day and got to spend time with family, friends, and remembering the true meaning of the day! Andrew and I had SUCH a fun weekend, that I knew we had to share about it, even if it is late!
We arrived in Connecticut late Friday night and my whole family was waiting at the airport to pick us up! We haven't seen them in over FIVE months! It's crazy how long its been! Then they took us out to dinner and we spent the whole time catching up, it was so nice.
Saturday was quite the busy day! Saturday morning started off with some spring mini sessions at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, and they were so much fun! I got to see all past clients again, and I loved every minute of it! After that was all done, it was finally time for Chelsea + Ryan's engagement session!! Oh my goodness, we have been waiting for this day and I could not wait! We had so much fun during the session catching up, and just enjoying every minute of it. Oh my goodness, I got so many good pictures that I cannot WAIT to blog about!! Later that night, Andrew and I went out with some of his friends from town, and we stayed up all night laughing, hanging out, and just catching up!
Sunday, we got up early and spent the morning enjoying breakfast and baby snuggles with my new baby nephew!! Oh my gosh, Logan could not be any cuter!! My sister, Lindsey, had baby Logan one month ago, and I have been anxiously waiting to meet him! Oh, he is absolutely the cutest!! Later that morning, Andrew and I met up with my best friend's whole family and did a session for them! Oh how I have missed the entire family!! It was so nice catching up and doing their family photo's again! After that we enjoyed a picnic at my parents house and just relaxed with them. Later that night, we met up with Amber and her boyfriend Evan and did a quick session with them before grabbing dinner! I can't tell you how much I missed my best friend, and how fun it was to catch up!
Monday, it was time to head back home to Florida! We had quite the busy weekend, but we enjoyed every last minute of it! I spent most of the morning just relaxing with my sister and the baby and just soaking in all of it. Then we went out to lunch with my little sister and my mom. It was so nice to spend every last minute with them as I could!
Finally, it was time to go home! We had such a great trip, but there's no better feeling than going back to your own home and back to our fur babies! We miss everyone in CT so much, and can't wait until we go back again!!
