Good morning! I cannot believe it is already Monday, this weekend FLEW by! It may be, because, this was such a good weekend! Busy season is starting to slow down on my end, and I was grateful for a whole weekend completely off! It's been a long time since I've had a whole weekend free, and it was amazing!
Saturday, was spent mostly as a lazy and relaxing day! I had the whole house to myself, while Andrew was out. The girls and I spent majority of the morning staying in bed, and watching a ton of Christmas movies! Oh, it was so nice to have time to do that! I did manage to clean the entire house, and work on some editing and other things. But, overall the day was spent mostly watching Christmas movies and getting ready for Sunday!
On Sunday, Andrew and I woke early and finished all the errands that needed to get done. It is hard to believe it's almost winter, considering today was 80 degrees! Since it was such a gorgeous day on Sunday, we decided to take a bike ride down to the beach! Oh it was so much fun! We haven't had a chance to go to the beach since moving here, so today was the perfect day! We ended up doing a 8.25 mile bike ride around the beach and home. Oh, I am so sore now. On our way back, we stopped at the cutest smoothie shop, which was SO good! We cannot wait to go back!
We ended Sunday night decorating the Christmas tree and the house! I had been looking forward to this all week! We had Christmas music on, hot cocoa with candy canes, and we had so much fun! We even dressed Luna up in her reindeer hat, and got some pictures of her in front of the tree. She was so good about it, even though she hated every minute of it, haha. Pixel was sure not to come out of hiding, but she will get her turn soon! He he! Christmas is easily one of my favorite holidays, and I am so thankful for our second Christmas together this year!
Overall, it was the perfect weekend, and exactly what we needed! I am so happy we had so much time to spend together this weekend! We also hit our one year mark of moving to Florida, and of course we had to celebrate that! I can say easily this was the best decision to move here! What did y'all do this weekend?! Have you set your Christmas tree and decorations up yet?
